INDIANA PROBATE
When you lose a loved one, the last thing you
want is stress. Employing the right attorney to
guide you in the beginning stage is important. Who pays
for the funeral? What do I do if I live out-of-state? Whether you are a beneficiary or an attorney,
if you need assistance with administering the estate, we can help
you.
Some services include evaluating or filing a
claim for or against the estate; finding the right auction company
or realtor to assist in selling the assets and real estate;
completing the inheritance tax returns for residents or
non-residents; preparation of accountings or assisting with
any aspects of the estate.
Family conflict may arise during the
administration of an estate or before. If you do not
have a correct understanding of the process of estate
administration, or know which assets fall under "probate,"
this in itself can often cause conflict. Life insurance or
accounts that are joint or have a beneficiary designation - are not
probate assets that are controlled by the Will or estate
administration. Having a Will or no Will
determines who inherits.
If someone took advantage of someone using a
power-of-attorney or by undue influence you may have an action.
No matter what stage the estate is in, if your loved one
lived in Indiana or had assets in Indiana I can help you. I provide guidance to
my clients to accomplish the tasks, or I can do all aspects to complete the
estate administration or inheritance tax issues.
Arlene (Howe) Kline has been assisting and consulting
attorneys for over fifteen years. Compare attorneys to doctors. If you have a
heart problem – you want a heart specialist. Arlene has facilitated the closing
of estates (prior to her assistance) remained opened for ten to fifteen years
by providing guidance to the personal representative or attorney or preparing
the final accounting and pleadings. Don't let that happen to your decedent's
estate. |
